Keep in mind that while we’ve projected North Carolina to reach the requisite six wins, they have a postseason ban this year, and will not be allowed to partake in a bowl game. ACC Bowl Projections 2012: Week Two
Discover Orange Bowl: Florida State Seminoles (1-0) vs. BCS at-large
Chick-fil-a Bowl: Clemson Tigers (1-0) vs. SEC
Russell Athletics Bowl: Virginia Tech Hokies (1-0) vs. Big East
Hyundai Sun Bowl: Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (0-1) vs. Big East
Belk Bowl: NC State Wolfpack (0-1) vs. Pac-12
Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl: Virginia Cavaliers (1-0) vs. SEC
AdvoCare 100 Independence Bowl: Duke Blue Devils (1-0) vs. SEC
We also see Pittsburgh and Syracuse as bowl teams this year, with Pitt headed to the Beef O’Brady’s Bowl and SU garnering an invite to the BBVA Compass Bowl, respectively.
