Just wanted to send a quick heads-up to everyone that we (I) will be attending the Duke vs. Stanford game out here in the Bay Area this Saturday. I know it’s a late kickoff for ACC folks (10:30 p.m. ET), but for those watching, we’ll be providing updates during the game and a full recap (with pictures) afterward.
As a reminder, here’s what we predicted for this game:
“Stanford allows tons of passing yards to inexperienced quarterbacks — a great sign for Duke, who brings third-year starter Sean Renfree along for the trip. As we’ve noted before, this game appears to reek of upset potential. Upstart program (Duke) on the road against a team replacing a legend (Stanford), plenty of issues still needing to be ironed out for the Cardinal, plus a true desire by these Blue Devils seniors to finally break the 17-year bowl-less streak. If it’s going to happen, this will be the game that shifts the tide in their favor. Prediction: Duke 27, Stanford 24″
Whether you’re a Blue Devils fan or not, be sure to stop in at the blog, and my Twitter feed (@JohnCassillo) to get a live take on what’s going on.

Awesome. Have a great time! I really think Duke is capable of pulling an upset here.
I’ll be in Philly watching the Terps play Temple tomorrow … hopefully they’ll surprise everyone with a win. We’ll see how it goes.
I’ve definitely got Duke in this one, but it’ll be a close one.
Good luck to the Terps — if possible, would you want to put together a write-up afterward? Doesn’t have to be anything crazy. Just some thoughts from attending live, with a brief recap.
Will do.
