Boston College Football’s GSR of 94 Ranks Among the Best in the NCAA

The ACC‘s stellar overall academic performance continues with the release of the NCAA’s GSR figures yesterday. For those unfamiliar, the GSR — Graduation Success Rate — measures both transfer athletes and four/five-year athletes for each specific sport, who leave the university in good academic standing (by graduating). The most recent figures account for enrollment from the 2002-03 academic year, through 2005-06. We’ve also added Syracuse, Pittsburgh and Notre Dame for additional reference here.

  2. Boston College: 94
  3. Miami: 94
  4. Duke: 92
  5. Wake Forest: 86
  6. Syracuse: 79
  7. Clemson: 75
  8. North Carolina: 75
  9. Virginia Tech: 75
  10. Pittsburgh: 70
  11. Virginia: 69
  12. Maryland: 65
  13. NC State: 62
  14. Florida State: 55
  15. Georgia Tech: 55
