Some questions to ponder:
Will VT @ Miami be as entertaining as usual?
Will Clemson @ Duke be entertaining in the second half?
Can Syracuse beat Cincinnati?
Can Pittsburgh cover the spread?
Which QB will tuck the ball & run more often in the GT @ Maryland game?
Will the Wahoos score at all in Raleigh?
Finally…
If Wake defeats BC but no one is watching, will it make a sound?
All good ones. I’ll give it a shot:
- Virginia Tech and Miami will be entertaining since the Hokies’ defense lacks last year’s intensity and Miami’s offense may be rejuvenated with the week off.
- Clemson will run roughshod over Duke, especially if Renfree’s limited.
- Syracuse can beat Cincinnati, but the question is ‘will they?’ If the Orange can get out of their own way, I see this as a hard-fought upset.
- I think that spread is too high for the ND/Pitt game, so yes, I think the Panthers can cover.
- Georgia Tech has a real QB controversy, and I think they’re transitioning to next year already. Vad Lee will get more carries.
- UVa will score, but not much. I see a big game for David Amerson.
- Lastly, no. It won’t make a sound.
