Below is a projected list of bowl-eligible ACC teams, and which games they’d hypothetically be headed to. As parity continues its ugly reign across the conference, there’s some legitimate concern the ACC could fall well short of the eight slots its guaranteed (insert sadface). Disagree with any of these? ACC Bowl Projections 2012: Week 11
Discover Orange Bowl: Florida State Seminoles (8-1) vs. BCS at-large
Chick-fil-a Bowl: Clemson Tigers (8-1) vs. SEC
Russell Athletics Bowl: Miami Hurricanes (5-4) vs. Big East
Hyundai Sun Bowl: NC State Wolfpack (5-4) vs. Pac-12
Belk Bowl: Virginia Tech Hokies (4-5) vs. Big East
Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl: Duke Blue Devils (6-4) vs. SEC
We also see Pittsburgh (4-5) going to the Pinstripe Bowl as the Big East’s fifth-place representative (fourth-place team would be ineligible).
We’ll be updating these each week, so be sure to check back throughout the season.
