After a certain team from Coral Gables decided to ban themselves from the postseason again, the league’s in a very difficult spot, and is unlikely to come close to meeting its tie-in allotment. Discover Orange Bowl: Florida State Seminoles (10-1) vs. BCS at-large
Chick-fil-a Bowl: Clemson Tigers (10-1) vs. SEC
Russell Athletics Bowl: Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (6-5) vs. Big East
Hyundai Sun Bowl: NC State Wolfpack (6-5) vs. Pac-12
Belk Bowl: Duke Blue Devils (6-5) vs. Big East
Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl: Virginia Tech Hokies (5-6) vs. SEC
We also see Syracuse (6-5) going to the Pinstripe Bowl as the Big East’s fourth-place representative.
With a couple teams still on the fringe of eligibility, next week’s outlook could change dramatically, so be sure to stop back for our final regular-season projections.
