More on the Maryland Lawsuit (ACC Football Rx)

After posting the article about some thoughts on possible outcomes of the Maryland lawsuit, the Washington Post made publicly available a copy of the suit filed by the ACC.  Here are some points from that lawsuit which I found very interesting: Who has jurisdiction? It seems clear that the by-laws are subject to the laws of the state of North Carolina. Does it matter that Maryland voted against increasing the exit fee in 2012?…

New AD Bullish on Clemson, ACC (The State)

Dan Radakovich recalled fondly those moments during his years on the athletics staff at South Carolina when he and then-baseball coach Ray Tanner commiserated over the challenges they faced. When Tanner walked in the door at USC, Radakovich had been on Mike McGee’s staff about a year. Tanner never left, but Radakovich exited for posts at American University, LSU and Georgia Tech over the next 12 years…

This weekend is that weekend for the 2013 cycle. All twenty of Virginia’s 2013 commits are expected on Grounds this weekend…

Bruce Feldman of CBS officially broke the news on Loeffler’s hiring via Twitter on Monday night. Though Feldman only reported the hiring Monday night, I had it from a good source that Loeffler was officially offered the job last Saturday and that his visit to Blacksburg was to iron out the details…

Boston College LB Coach Bill McGovern to Join Chip Kelly’s Staff in Philadelphia (BC Interruption)

In a rather shocking move, former Boston College defensive coordinator and current linebacker coach Bill McGovern has reportedly accepted a position on Chip Kelly’s staff with the Philadelphia Eagles. Per the report, McGovern will be joining former BC tight end Bob Bicknell on the Eagles’ staff. His role hasn’t been clarified yet, but best guess would be that McGovern would be coaching the linebackers for Philadelphia…
